Presenter: Jim Myers, Presbyterian Home Healthcare Services
Topic:

It Had To Be "U"

  • What IS your voice?
  • Who ARE you?
  • How do you USE your voice?

Your “voice” in life evolves much like your actual voice has over the years. When we’re young, it’s sharp and piercing. “Use your inside voice,” our teachers admonished. As we bow to the peer pressure of youth and begin discovering who we are, we sometimes bury our real “voice” in the trappings of approval. Our want to be accepted supersedes our own genuine expression of who we are – and finding our best fit and purpose.

In this interactive and practical WORK-shop, we’re going to attempt to determine what our voice is and how we should express it. This won’t be some mumbo-jumbo-existentialistic seminar; at the end you’ll have the knowledge AND the tools to make a difference in you and influence others...if you so choose.

Please note that this program will be held at The Montebello on Academy, 10500 Academy Rd. NE.
