Biography:Dr. Darlene Hess is a coach, consultant, educator, and holistic nurse psychotherapist who owns and manages Brown Mountain Visions, a consulting and private practice in Los Ranchos, New Mexico.
Dr. Hess has several years’ clinical experience as a nurse practitioner. She is the former chair of the nursing program at the University of Phoenix in New Mexico, and currently teaches for the University of Phoenix. She currently provides consultant services related to faculty, organizational, and curriculum development.

She holds a BA in Sociology from Western State College in Colorado and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico. She is also a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Excelerator© and the National Center for Social Entrepreneurs, Pathfinder Program. Prior to joining the Ethics Alliance, Ms. VonOsten’s career had been dedicated to organizational development and community capacity building. Biographies:Tom Joles joined KOB-TV in the mid-1980s and co-anchors Eyewitness News 4 weeknights at 6 and 10 p.m. Since coming to Albuquerque, Tom has received awards from the NM Associated Press, the Albuquerque Press Club, and the NM Broadcasting Association. Emily Esterson has been a journalist for 15 years. She was an associate editor for Inc. Magazine in Boston prior to joining the NM Business Weekly in 1999. Her first book, “Covering the Business Beat” was recently released from Purdue University Press.
Janet Blair has more than 30 years experience in journalism and public relations. She has worked twenty years in TV news at KOAT and KRQE. She has also been a senior staff member to Mayor Martin Chavez, PR Director for St. Joseph Healthcare and owned her own small consulting firm
Tamara Shope has been with The Tribune for almost five years and is currently a business reporter with a focus on health care issues in New Mexico. She has worked for several magazines around the country.
